5th of August 2010

I decided to choose Ibu Lisbeth, who is also my tutor group teacher as my Personal Project Supervisor, and started working on the draft of the proposal. I had gotten more ideas a few days before, and decided that I should stick with my idea of writing a book based on the true story of an orphan, then when I am done, I will print the book and sell it to my friends and family. I will use the proceeds to buy books to donate to the orphanage.
How I plan to do this:
I will interview a child from an orphanage, and I will write down notes of their story. I will also see what books they like, and make note of that so I will know what books to buy for them later on.
I will write the book, and when I am done, sell it to my friends and family.
I will use the proceeds to buy books to donate to the orphanage.

Ideas

During the Personal Project Introduction last Friday I had several ideas on what to do for my personal project. Since we were supposed to do something that really affected the community, I had thought about two things. One of them was to create an affordable hand sanitizer for unprivileged kids, and the other one was to write a book based on the true story of an orphan. I hadn't really thought of the details, but I had thought that the second one would make a better PP.
Then I had an idea to blog my PP journal, instead of writing it down and wasting paper, and so, here it is.
